Soliflores, or single note fragrances, were all the rage during the 19th century. Back then, most fragrances could be classified into 7 olfactory families. But by 1945, due to advances in perfumery compound design, modern perfumery took over with vague, mood-centric compositions like Jicky by Guerlain (1889) and Chanel No. 5 (1921).
I purchased the Wanderlust from a great shop in Seattle and couldn't stop obsessing about it well beyond the last drop! I held on to the bottle until I could look up the brand (I no longer live in Seattle). I was so happy to find it again!
I enjoyed getting to sample the perfume oils I was thinking of purchasing. The price was great for a few days of perfumes. After I opened them I put each in a ziploc to make them last a little longer.
Altar of Roses is beautiful & feminine not overpowering. My favorite part is that it lasts all day. Incredibly fragrant without overpowering.. I also ordered the sample pack and found several new fragrances I will purchase.. The roll-on is great for travel. The best part is that you only put it on once a day.. I found my new go to fragrances. Thank you Herb & Root you make an excellent product.

If you like woodsy, musk, patchouli, sandalwood with a touch of ambergris, with a floral end, you will LOVE THIS!!
When I first smelled this fragrance I seriously thought it was from fresh flowers in the hotel lobby where we were staying. But then I realized it kept following us! It was the perfume my daughter was wearing. It is a beautiful natural gardenia fragrance that is not too strong but is very long lasting. I ordered one for myself and my Mom.
